More bloody snow.....

It started snowing on Sunday 15th, the first week of snow wasn't to bad but the second week was terrible as the snow kept on coming. By December 23rd we had about 20" of snow & half an inch of ice on the ground. The only reason that we still have our greenhouses is that Chiyoko has been working non stop removing the snow from the roofs of the houses. I was doing the same thing at work were I wasn't as successful, loosing 11 houses to the snow & ice :^(..

Decorating the Christmas Tree

Tuesday 10th we put the tree up. My job is to get it standing upright in the stand then get the lights on it & working! After that it was up to Chiyoko & Mirranda :^)..

A Weekend Trip to Seattle.

December 7th 2008 I had to go to Seattle to take the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. So we decided to make a weekend of it & we went up on Saturday to do a bit of Christmas shopping & hang out at the Pike Street Market. Instead of driving directly to Seattle we drove up to Bremerton on the other side of the Puget Sound then took 60 minute ferry ride across the Sound to the downtown Seattle.
