Sunday we took advantage of the great weather & hiked up the Herman Creek Trial as far as the Casey Creek Trail junction with some friends. The weather was more like late April than February... Great Day - Great Hike!
So what do you do on Superbowl Sunday - Go for a hike of course! We only had half a day free so we headed up the Eagle Creek trail to Tish Creek then Bushwhacked our way up the Creek to Tish Creek Falls. We also made our first side trip to the Enchanted Gorge.
So Sunday Chiyoko & headed headed east in the Gorge hoping for a dry day & a good hike. We first hiked the little used Trail up to Wygant Peak. On the way back we detoured onto the old Chetwoot Trail built by Basil Clark in the 1970's, the trail explores Perham Creek. Since we were back at the car by 3:00pm we figured we had enough time to left to dash up to Mitchell Point.
